The Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Compulsory Oil Stocks is a public economic institute that performs the activity of maintanining compulsory stocks of petroleum products, in order to maintain reserves that will suffice for 90 days, based on average consumption in the previous year.

The mission of the Public Agency of the RS for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI) is to expand the effective support environment for faster development of the entrepreneurial sector, small businesses and self-employment in Slovenia, and to promote a culture of enterprise. The activities of the JAPTI proceed from the presumption that for successful development businesspersons require assistance in accessing information and consultancy services, accessing markets, obtaining access to partners and associates of high quality, accessing various forms of financing, obtaining premises and space, shortening administrative and other procedures in setting up companies, and expanding their operations. To this end, the JAPTI provides support for special target groups, informs MSME (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises) about the prospects for establishing and developing MSME, provides MSME with quality consulting services and training, and supports MSME in their internationalisation.

This entrepreneurship fund is the main public financial institution in the RS set up to improve access to financial sources for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The fund was set up as a public financial fund by the Government of the RS based on the Public Funds Act. On the basis of the Supportive Environment for Entrepreneurship Act, the fund transformed itself into the Public Fund for Entrepreneurship, shortened to the Slovenian Enterprise Fund. Its activities include regulating economic sectors for more efficient commerce, financial leasing, other credit and other financial brokerage.

The Slovenian Tourist Board is the umbrella national tourist organisation for planning and carrying out the promotion of Slovenia as a tourist destination inside and outside the country, for promoting the development of existing and new products at the national level, for setting up integrated tourist information infrastructure and for coordinating national, regional and local tourism programmes of national importance. The STB is a professional marketing institution at state level, and develops and employs all the contemporary methods, tools and activities for the global marketing of Slovenia's tourist offer. In this way the STB also contributes to Slovenia's general reputation abroad.

The Slovenian Institute for Standardisation (SIST) is the national standards authority, and is responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining the national system of standardisation in the area of electrical technology, information technology, telecommunications and also in general areas, and represents the national interests in international standardisation organisations (ISO, IEC) and in European standardisation organisations (CEN, CENELEC, ETSI).

SIST was set up by the RS to provide the permanent activity of Slovenian national standardisation in the public interest and to perform proprietary activities in the interest of users. The SIST secretariat, headed by the director, is the professional and administrative service that provides professional and technical support for official bodies and technical working bodies, and performs the marketing of products and services.

The Slovenian Accreditation (SA) is a public institute which, in the manner and under the terms applicable to the public service, performs the tasks of the national accreditation service in the Republic of Slovenia in accordance with the Accreditation Act and the Decision on establishment of the public institute Slovenian Accreditation. SA operates as an independent service, performing the accreditation procedures in such a way to ensure that accreditations and accredited activities as well as the service itself are recognised as competent and reliable at the national and international level.
